Wasted Morning and Belly Shot

I knew I shouldn't have bragged about not getting sick. I had the girls over for book club last night and my throat started hurting right after they left. It seems like I have what Matt has, although I'm hoping to kick it out of my system a lot faster than he has been able to. Other than my throat hurting and a little stuffiness, I feel okay.

I let Ava go to Wee School today since she was feeling better and I headed over the car dealership for the morning. Matt's car is getting ready to lose it's warranty and there are a few issues that he wanted to get fixed. Well, after waiting all morning for them to do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, I had to leave to go pick Ava up. We told them about 5 different issues and were finally told that "all the issues fall in the normal range for this vehicle". I don't know much about cars but that seems a little hard to believe. And, we were told that we needed all new tires and we were quoted $1500!!!! WHAT? After calling around Matt found a discount tire place that will sell us MUCH better tires for half as much. Never trust the dealerships.

Changing the subject, many of you have asked if I'm "showing" yet, and I think this picture will answer that question. Here is my 16 week belly! I can't wear my regular jeans anymore but my maternity jeans are still a little big so I have to roll them down. Now if I could just stay this size for the duration of my pregnancy. . . . . . HA!
